well, as you can see, my modem is at USB 2-1, my USB Mouse is at USB 2-3, and after loading everything and when the modem connected, i plugged the keyboard and it appears at USB 2-8

I tested disconnecting the mouse, but nothing happened :S

any idea?? I know that my Huawei modem is odd, but it's what I've got.
A week ago, I was using another USB keyboard but connected to the PS/2 connector (I have an "USB to PS/2" connector), and everything was fine, then i bought this new keyboard... with the USB to PS/2 connector this new keyboard doesn't work, neither at boot time! (when the BIOS start and the POST and all those things, they keyboard doesn't work).

Thanks for reading.

Bye! and Saint Ignucius bless your computer!

Hi there. I am not a hardware expert as such, so will not be able to explain why the keyboard you talk about at a later stage does not work. It does however appear from the first output code that you have two usb bus systems. The slowdown may be caused by the fact that your optical mouse being a low speed device is affecting other things.

If this is a laptop try maybe the keyboard and the modem and unplug the mouse and see what happens. Also try the keyboard and mouse on one USB bus and the modem on a free bus not being used by other components.

Hope this helps
