usb hd not detecting on rhel5 server


i am using rhel5 server,i've a external usb harddisk 0f 60 gb of frontech,it is working on my pcon windows but not on rhel5,pendrives,flash cards r working fine ,help me plzzzz

Under Linux?
If so, plz post your /etc/fstab here [in terminal: cat /etc/fstab], maybe the extern hd has a different block device file name (e.g. /dev/sda1, while a pendrive probably has /dev/sda).
