USB Harddisk For Linux?


May i know is fedora 2 can plug and play the usb harddisk just like what windows did?
I still need to manually mount the harddisk till now.

Please help.

Fedora Core 2 (and most other distros based on the 2.6 kernel) will provide automounting, because of enhanced versions of hotpluging, you can read more about it on the sourceforge home page for the hotplug project.
