I purchased a new IBEXPC computer so I could learn all about Linux. The computer came with the Fedora software installed. What I am trying to do with no success is to install a Western Digital USB hard drive so I can make my mistakes on a separate program installed there, rather than wreaking havoc on my main program.
Is there a secret to doing this? I have purchased several books with CD's included which go into great detail regarding Dual booting a Windows PC. They avoid any reference to just adding and installing a 2nd hard drive to an existing Linux system.
The unit is a 250 GB WD Hard drive Model WD2500c032.
Hope some one can walk me through this as I have been trying for two months with no success. Is this do-able?
