usb hard drive install?

Hi All,
Newbie here! can I install Red Hat on a USB hard drive. my PC has the capability to boot USB hard drive thru bios setup.
Please , I need answers.

That shouldn't be a problem, USB drive is recognized as /dev/sda so that's what you choose when you install.
(sda is first drive, sdb second etc)

I had problems with the installation. The Fedora3 installation did not
find any disk to install to, but /dev/sda was present.
I installed a minimum Fedora3 on a LapTop, packed / with cpio and
unpacked on the USB disk. It works fine now, but it was a complicated
L Ekman
