USB External Hard Drive not mounting

I have an external hard drive that auto mounts just fine on another Suse Linux PC but when I try to connect it to a notebook I receive this error message:

I can plug in other USB flash drives and external hard drives and they work fine. I tried to use the solution in the screen shot but that still didn't work. Is there someplace that this is stored that maybe I could remove it and try to connect it again? I don't understand why it works on one machine and not another, they are both running Suse Linux 10.3.

Go figure, I plugged this external device back into a Windows machine and then used the Safely Remove to remove the device. All is well now.
