Unhappy USB device automatic discovery and mount in KDE / Debian

Hi,

Do KDE have possibility to mount automaticly USB devices and create Icon for this devices?

I checked the box Show devices icons in Desktop Properties -> Behaviour -> Devices Icons but it did not changed anything.

I found interesting posts regarding HAL. Is it necessary to have such behaviour?

Should I change anything in my /etc/fstab?

Right now there is nothing about /dev/sda1 device.

All the best;
