ha, i got it.. i think. appearently there is a piece of a sucker under my (-) button, so wheni said make && make modules_install i was saying make && make modules install. ha!!! cna you believe that. i am using a transparent terminal, so i didnt notice, til this time.
ok, here is what i got. i think i got it. i wasnt getting the _ when i said make && make modules_install, so it was stringing them together like make && make modules install, cause i use tab completion too much, i guess. so i wasnt building the new kernel modules. haha!! can you believe that. it is building right now, ill let you know. i htink it is that joydev thing. i didnt have it in my original kernel. so it wasnt the sucker i tested that.
well, i use xterm or rxvt when i am doing something new, but recompiling is like brushing your teeth or somehting, you know well i guess not though huh, since i messed it up like 3 times.
