usb connections!!!

i have a small question about usb connections...

my thermaltake case has 9-pins coming from its Hardcano USB 2.0, the manual says:
" -VCC1 connects to VCC1 or USB+5V or USB Power on your M/B.
-DATA-1 connects to USB1- or LDM1 or USB2- on your M/B.
-DATA+1 connects to USB1+ or LDM1 or USB2+ on your M/B.
-GND1 connects to GND1 or GND.
-SHIELD connects to NG on your M/B.
..."

the little confusion is:
does the number in 'USB1- USB2-' just for counting? so it doesn't matter I connect the DATA-1 to USB6- on the m/b, right? (the USB connectors in my m/b starts with USB56...)

Yes, it should. If you connect all of the wires to the same usb ports on the mobo, then you should be fine (ex: if you connected all of them to the usb6 pins you should be fine, but you can't connect just the one to usb6 and the rest to 5 or something similar)

Hope that helps
