USB adapter for Palm m105 docking cradle???
Does anyone know of a serial to USB adaptor that can be used that can connect the RS-232 serial docking cradle for the Palm m105 series to connect it to a USB port???
I can sync my Palm with my Windoze box, but not with my Linux Box now that I got a new system with only one RS-232 serial port.

Well, for now I've gone with a low-tech solution:
I've gotten a 6' serial extension cable so I can bring the connection closer to the front of the PC, and will simple connect the device I need to use...
I learned that the Palm m105 (and m100 for that matter) use a different interface from the newer Palm models, which use a standardized interface that has both USB and serial adaptors/cradles for them. The older ones were RS-232 serial only and don't work well with anything but one particular 3rd party model of serial to USB adaptor (which is hard to find, at least in the USA, as it is a European manufacturer).
I'll be looking at getting a serial switchbox the next time I'm at a show, but for now, it seems that just physically switching the hookup is the best solution.
Anyone with an older serial linked Palm should take notice if they use an external serial modem that their motherboard has at least 2 physical serial ports. I didn't look into this when I got this board, so I ended up stuck.
