USB 2.0 PIONER CDR Not writing at full speed. Only 4x
Heya All;
I was wondering if anyone could answer why I'm having problems burning a CD-R on this drive at anything > 4x.
I have the proper modules loaded I believe. I can easily read/write to this drive, just not at fast speeds. This is odd because I could write to this drive faster when I had RHat Fedora installed, but I got sick of it pretty quick and switched back to Debian (sid). Unfortunately, the
CDR/RW doesn't behave the same way.
I'm a relatively competent Linux user but have not been able to make this work properly. I have extensively searched this site and everywhere else.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

P.S. Some output for the drive.
~$ sudo cdrecord -scanbus
