USB 2.0 DVD Drive running at usb 1.1 speed..

Hi,
First off thanks to everyone with the help on my cd mount problem.

My USB 2.0 dvd drive is not being detected correctly. usbview shows it as usb 2.0 mass storage device which is guess is ok but it shows its speedt at 12M. I have a Shuttle SK41G case and motherboard which has North bridge-VIA KM266, South bridge-VIA 8235 chipset. I am using Knoppix 3.7 and i checked my kernel it has usb 2.0 support compiled in anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
