US Robotics 9630 Cordless Dual Skype Phone

Ello!

I've been trying to get this bit of hardware working for ages, not with much luck. It gets detected fine, the problem is you need the bit of software from USR which interfaces between the phone and Skype, and obviously there isnt a version of it which will run in Linux. Has anyone got one of these and managed to get it to work maybe with some other manufacturers software which will run in Linux? I did manage to get their software, and the Windows version of Skype running under Wine, but their software doesnt detect the phone (I guess this is to do with the support for USB devices in Wine, so maybe someone would have some ideas there?).
Anyone got any ideas? Or should I just bin the phone? =)
