Lightbulb Upgrading nVidia Card using Ubuntu Dapper

Hi
I'm gonna upgrade my NVidia Geforce 4 card 64mb to Nvidia GeForce 6000 something 256mb. Manly to improve XGL and running of some apps. I have the nVidia Kernal installed. Will it just work when I insert the card or will there be any problems or upgrades needed?

Thanks
