Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Question Upgrading Acer Aspire One D250's graphic capabilities

I want to run this game, on this computer, which has an upgraded 2 GiB of RAM.
I was planning to buy this graphics card ( this website confirms compatibility) to go into the empty mini PCIe x1 slot on the back of the computer.
Then, I was going to use this software to increase the performance of the integrated GMA950 chip.

I was also considering overclocking the Intel Atom;
this website might help.
However, I have never overclocked a cpu before, but results on a Google search prove its possible.

Side note: I was getting 9 fps without any of the 'performance enhancers' & only 1 GiB of RAM running the game. It actually wouldn't be so bad if I could double that. And if I could triple it I would easily play it.

Ohh, and totally random side note: I'm downloading Slackware for my first time right now! Excited! Gonna dual-boot with Windows! Wish me luck!

So, whats your guys' opinion? Do you think I can do it?

Thank you!

Congratulations on the question - full marks for all the homework, and the links
It won't run satisfactorily, imho.
My guess is (and I have raised 3 pc gamers) is that even if it does, the experience will be a disappointment.
Especially when you are emulating and tarting up graphics. I would guess jerky would be the word for it, and put it on your CV if you get it going!
