Unknown devices in SuSE9 Plugger

Hello there...
Is it normal to have about 16 devices listed as unknown?
Devices are:
Aopen 82801EB SMBus Controller
ATI RADEON 9600 PRO v350
BIOS
Intel 82801BA/CA/DB/EB PCI Bridge
Intel 82801EB LPC Interface Controller
Intel 82865G/PE/P Processor to AGP Controller
Intel 82865G/PE/P Processor to I/O Controller
Intel(R)Pentium(R)4 CPU 3.00 GHz, 3007 MHz (listed twice)
Linux 2.4.21-99-smp4G ehci_hcd Intel Corp. 82801EB USB2 Enhanced Host Controller
Main Memory
System
USB UHCI Root Hub (listed 4 times)

Ok, that was the list...
The devices are working but not set up properly.

Why is the CPU listed twice and why did Linux install with multiprocessor support?
I suspect it's the hyperthreading technology at work here and what if anything do I do about that?

And generally what, if anything, can I do to get those items properly set up?

If needed I have the output of dmesg, lspci and lsmod available...
Be warned though, the dmesg output covers about 9 pages........

Any answers except "GO BACK TO WINDOWS" and "RTFM" and similar are welcome :)
