....uncommon USB Bluetooth Issues on Suse 9.2

Hi,
iīm having a hard time getting my Broadcom USB Bluetooth-Stick to work with my Suse Linux 9.2 Desktop PC. I am running the same device/stick on my laptop with Suse Linux 9.3 without any trouble.

Here are my specs before I characterize my difficulties:

Suse 9.3 with Kernel 2.6.8-24.18-default and KDE

I installed:
bluez-libs-2.10-2
bluez-utils-2.10-15.1
kdebluetooth-0.0.cvs20040825-5.1

My Broadcom USB Dongle is recognized as:
Broadcom CCBT2035BDGP23-1

linux:~ # lsusb
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 015: ID 0a5c:200a Broadcom Corp.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

my hcid.conf:

# HCId options
options {
autoinit yes;

security user;

pairing multi;

pin_helper /bin/bluepincat;
}

device {
# Local device name

name "Desktop %h (%d)";

class 0x100100

iscan enable;

pscan disable;

lm accept;

lp rswitch,hold,sniff,park;

auth enable;
encrypt enable;
}

My issues can be described as the following:

I can start kbluetoothd and occasionaly and scand for bluetooth devices.

linux:~ # hcitool scan
Scanning ...
00:60:57:AB:B1:6A Nokia 6600
00:0A9:E9:23:1F n/a
00:60:57:3B:0B:F9 Saqib DJ
00:A0:96:0B4B Pacemaker

Then, I try to do a service descovery on one of the found devices, preferably on device "Pacemaker".

linux:~ # sdptool browse 00:A0:96:0B4B
Browsing 00:A0:96:0B4B ...
Service Search failed: Software caused connection abort

Then, according to kbluetoothd the Bluetooth device just getīs disconnected and reconnected, as if I would un- and replug the dongle within itīs socket. Hitting the kbluetoothd-icon and therefore trying to inquire devices then just dumps:
"No working adapter was found. Only local service will be displayed."

My suggestion is, that this is due to possible further issues with my usb ...erm "stuff".

dmesg states the following:

I have the same problem, but on a Gentoo Box (kernel 2.6.12), AMD 4400+, 4 GB RAM
when connecting a USB hard-disk.
Doesn't always freeze the system, sometimes I can even access some data, but not for long.
