Getting it to work in any Depth higher than 8 256 colors in xorg.conf
My only choice in getting this unknown Monitor working at all, durring installation, of Fedora Core 3, was to choose Generic LCD Monitor 640x480 256 colors.
Once in X I was able to raise the resolution to 1280x1024
Although any higher Depth, is unusable and requires a reboot and recovery of xorg.conf
I just noticed above that my TV card may not be working,

I'm having the same issue also with ATI 9200, and Fedora core 3

figured it out, installed the RPM from ATI driver download then combined xorg.conf and the XFREE86config-4 file created by ATI. if you install ATI driver RPM. I did get a couple of errors on the install but it seems they are written for an older kernal, so I ignored them

The solution that worked for me was to change the speed of AGP in the bios from 8x to 4x.
