Unable to connect to wireless router in Mandriva 2009 / WUSB54GC

I am running Mandriva Spring 2009.1 and attempting to get my Linksys WUSB54GC wireless adapter to connect to my Linksys router. I have the card installed(I think anyway) using ndiswrapper and the rt73 driver.

When I configure my network setting through the wizard, I get a generic "Connection error" dialog box. Directly below is my dmesg output after this error. I think I recall reading a thread over the past few days about protocol on this forum for Linux & Wireless forum posts, and what needs to be in them, but I can't seem to locate it right now. So if more info is needed, please let me know. Thanks!

***Also, what is Shorewall in these logs? Firewall? Where can I access the firewall config in Mandrake 2009? In the log above, what is SRC(source) and what is DST(destination)?

There seems to be a problem with your wep key. According to the dmesg output, the length of your key is invalid. Shorewall is indeed the firewall. I would suggest disabling the security on your router. Confirm you can connect to it, then deal with the key issue.

WEP key

Will give that a try. However, this is the same key I use for my Windows clients on my network, and I have now problems with them.

Thanks!
