Unhappy ULi PCI Fast Ethernet Controller

This ULi PCI Fast Ethernet Controller nic is not being recongized by Link 9.0.
So I can not use Link for internet.
This is a ASUS Mother board with AMD Athlon 64 FX-55processor.
Is there a way to get Link to run this nic.
I am some what familar with Unix but this is a
very new Mother Board.
I was not able to find it on the web at the ULI site.

The path /usr/sbin/hwinfo did not work.

Thanks
