uhci_hcd 0000:01:00.4: Controller not stopped yet - HP Del 380


Hello Friends,

I have installed CentOS-6.3 in HP DEL 380e server. I have installed USB mobile partner driver in this server to use USB dongle. Iam getting the following messages in the kernel.

uhci_hcd 0000:01:00.4: Controller not stopped yet!
uhci_hcd 0000:01:00.4: Controller not stopped yet!
uhci_hcd 0000:01:00.4: Controller not stopped yet!
uhci_hcd 0000:01:00.4: Controller not stopped yet!
uhci_hcd 0000:01:00.4: Controller not stopped yet!
uhci_hcd 0000:01:00.4: Controller not stopped yet!

USB dongle getting disconnected frequently. Could you please help me to fix this issue?

I found this issue not because of Mobile partner driver. It came once OS installed with out any additional driver installed.

Let me know if anyone facing the same issue.

Found https://www.centos.org/modules/newbb...er=ASC&start=0 which gives agood workaround. Unfortunately the HP site listed in this URL is a Japanese one which I cant read :-)

ls -l /sys/bus/usb/devices/usb* |grep "0000:01:00.4"
echo "-1" > /sys/bus/usb/devices/usb3/power/autosuspend


Stopped messages.
