I'm having problems using my wireless device on ubuntu lucid.

Thanks in advance for any help you could provide

b43 may or may not be the correct driver, depending on the exact bcm4312 you have. You might have better luck with the b43/STA hybrid driver (the wl module) like I did on my Dell Mini netbook.

+1. I couldn't get mine to work properly until I installed the b43 sta.
