ruguloo Member Registered: Nov 2007 Posts: 45 Rep:	Ubuntu 8.10 Problem getting HP psc 1215 printer installed I have no problems at all when using Ubuntu 8.04 but cannot get the printer installed with 8.10. The error message informs me of a CUPS failure. I look in "Services" and there is no CUPS included. If I try to install new printer, the area is grayed out and not accessible. When I use Ubuntu 8.04 and look in "Services" there is a CUPS. I am quite confused about this and would really like to get my printer humming in 8.10. Any suggestions?
