gbbenson LQ Newbie Registered: Jan 2003 Location: Munich, Germany Distribution: Linux from Scratch Posts: 29 Rep:	uügrading CPU/mainboard Hi, all, I currently have an Abit KT7a_RAID board/Athlon Tbird 1.13 Ghz, and I'm thinking about upgrading to a new whiz-bang Asus bourd and a newer Athlon XP. Any gotchas that I should need to know? FYI: I'm planning on rebuilding the kernel (running 2.4.20 at the moment) to include approriate modules for the appropriate chipset. Thanks, yuG
