i have an audigy2 and intel integrated sound. The audigy 2 doesnt exactly work with linux, drivers or not. When I use linux i'd like to use the intel integrated, because i dont really care for superhighquality sound (My dad bought the card for his use under windows.

I think so... Or else you will need to enable/disable all the time you turn your computer on into the bios... Quite annoying...

Well, try running sndconfig (you might need to install this package). I've a Audigy 1 myself and did not have problems... If you unsure about the values you have to pass to sndconfig, go to Windows , click into Start >> Run and type

set

That would bring the values and ports for you sound card. Back into Linux, run again sndconfig and put the numbers you've got previously...
