TVCARD cx88 i'm half way there on fc3

I've been having probs with installing my tv card. I posted elsewhere but even though it was very helpful i had no success. I have realised though after a post i saw today that as well as the bt878 chip my type of card Leadtek TV2000 XP, can also have a cx88 type chip as well.

All this time i was saying i had a bt878 but it was cx88, ithink!!!!!!!!!

So i tried the following and got a picture/ sort of/ just there was a bit of overlapping interference but i think that means i have to experiment with the options. Anyway, all i would like to ask is if someone could tell me how to stop fc3 detecting the wrong card and let it know which card type it is, i added code to the modprobe.conf but that mae no change so i assume an earlier start up script detects or has pre existing info on the card.

When i saw the other post he mentioned it being card=5 tuner=38 so i did

rmmod bt878
rmmod bttv
modprobe bttv pll=1 radio=1 card=5 tuner=38

Opened tvtime and there was a picture with some interference (where before there was no signal at all) so maybe i'm tuner 39 or something, i'll look further for this info)

I added this to modprobe.conf but obviousely that's the wrong place, could someone please help?

Here's the dmesg log info:
