TV Cards in Japan ...

Hi all,

I want to install a TV card into a system in Japan, and BT8x8 chips don't seem to be used there. Conexant or Philips based cards seem to completely dominate.

So, does anyone have any advice on what Linux compatible TV cards are on the Japanese market? Thanks.

I know what you mean. It is a bit difficult to find cards that are supported here. But it's getting better. I recently found and bought a Hauppage 350 at Yodobashi Camera here in Osaka. There were also several other cards I believe would work. You just have to look around.
