Anyone know where I can find a list of linux compatible TV capture cards.. PCI
I was looking at the TV WONDER PRO from ATI but I dont know if it has linux support.. I need sounds support too, but I could do that through my soundcard if needed... thanks!
best bet is to go for anything based on a bttv chipset. go to bytesex.org for details of supported cards. while the ati cards technically are supported, they use a very different chipset to most other cards, so i'd advise against it. anything at all with a bt878 or bt848 chipset will be fine.
The ATI Wonder VE Remote works fine for me. I use TvTime and the remote works fine with the kernel module "ati_remote". Although, i did have to map the buttons though. The ATI card is cheap and it works"ok" with TvTime.
"OK" = Full screen television on my 19" montior. It's actually not that bad.
