Sound error :(

Hi.
I use Mandrake Linux and when I start XMMS to play a MP3 song, it pop up a window that say it can't play the file. The problem can be that I have wrong driver, wrong output-plugin or the soundcard is wrong configurated.
what to do?

Btw, I'm a newbie to linux, have only used it for a cuple of days.

New to linux or not, there's no reason you couldnt have right clicked on the player, chose preferences and picked a different output plugin!

There's also a menu button in the corner!

I have tried that, but I can't change the plugin. It is now OSS Driver 1.2.7
