triple monitor display in windows and linux
this seems like reverse psycology in a sense.. asking a windows question on a linux forum.. but i hope somone knows if my problem can be solved.
I have a multi monitor (3 monitors to be exact) in linux.. really nice. i got the screens all working properly finally.. but i want them to be this cool in windows as well.. I have one card thats using Nvidia drivers and 2 old S3 cards.. i figgured out that by using the nvidia control pannel in windows i can get 2 screens working IF the computer displayes video to the pci first.. but i still want the third card to work in windows.. (example of why linux is so much better then windows..) any ideas? thanks alot. |
this really IS the wrong forum.

Multiple monitor support is native to Windows 2000 and higher. All you have to do is:
1) Right click anywhere on the Windows desktop. 2) Select the "Settings" tab from the resulting context sensitive tab. 3) Enable/configure the monitors any way that you want. Finally, despite our Austrian friend's rudeness, this really is the wrong forum. For Windows questions I would refer you over to "www.myitforum.com" or the Windows .Net forum at http://www.winntmag.com/Forums/. I hope that this helps. /fwa |
