Tried installing ATI drivers now: no screens found

I tried installing the ATI drivers for 9800 pro on Redhat 9, and i can't enter startx now
the error i get is:
using config file "/etc/x11/xf86config_4"
failed to load module "fglrx"
no drivers available
fatal server error: no screens found

please help as i certainly don't want to reinstall redhat, anyway to get back to the configuration i previously had.
thanks for you help

have you tried running 'fglrxconfig' yet?
If so and still problems type 'mcedit /etc/X11/XF86Config-4' or use any text editor, vi, etc, scroll down to around line 315 where the monitor and next sections are. check them out, especially the resolutions wheich are under the 'screens' section in like 476 or so.
no screens found means that the config file cant find a useable resolution to display anything.

post ur screen section here this doesn't work.
