Transferring mp3s to a palm expansion card

I'm fairly new to the linux world, and just installed mandrake 9.2 on my computer. I have a Palm Tungsten E PDA that has an SD expansion slot (and I have a 256 MB card). I've got jpilot working to backup all the data in the internal memory, but i can't find any way to access the files on the card, or to transfer files to the card.

Can anyone help me out with this?
can i mount the card as a drive when it's in the palm?
will i have to buy a separate card reader?
has anyone made any palmos syncing software that supports expansion cards?

Any help is appreciated.

I would get a USB card reader for it. Only about $20.00. If get one that is can access more than one type of media card then make sure you have Lun Support in the Kernel.
