Touchscreen Calibration

I have got my touchscreen working in both Fedora Core 2 & 3. It's a 3M microtouch screen. I have tried some of the calibration programs that I can find on internet but they failed to work as they are for serial port only. My one is using usb. Is there anyway for me to calibrate the monitor. It's behaving strangely, when i try to go up, it goes down. The only correct point is the centre point.

This may at least get you somewhat ahead -- I have an intellitouch 2310 based touchscreen, and
the MinimumXPosition/MaximumXPositions need to be swapped, as do the Y positions.

There is a note to this effect from the Elo linux support site, scroll all the way down to the
end at http://www.elotouch.com/support/linux.asp
