Exclamation Toshiba L650-108 problem

I have a toshiba L650-108 laptop (you can find hardware information on toshibas website here)
it came with a 320GB hitachi HDD that I still have but right now Im using a 16GB adata SSD
I have win7 and ubuntu on the HDD, but I recently switched distroes to debian 7 which is installed on the SSD thats in the laptop right now.

The problem is that using any of the drives and any of the above 3 OSes it frequently freezes up for seconds (sometimes 20seconds) and then it starts working again (does this repeatedly), OR many times it freezes up complately (doesnt unfreeze after waiting) and only powering it down by holding the power button helps. In linux it does these even if x is not running.

What do you think I could do before I take it to toshibas service? Could I run any test programs? I was thinking about running memory test programs. Ill keep updating what I could find.

Also while trying to get memtest installed on debian 7 (installed on the 16GB SSD thats in it right now) while I was doing something else I had the laptop turned on for a while (x not running) and it started to give these messeges:

picture2

What are these messeges? (Ill try to look it up on google but please explain to me)

What else could be done to fix this problem that it keeps freezing?

Thank you in advance

These are kernel error messages, something is wrong with that machine, especially when all three OSes produce the same error symptoms. It may be overheating, so I would start with cleaning the cooling system. If you want you can also run a memory test (I recommend Memtest86+ for that), but I doubt that these are memory problems.

By the way, how did you manage to install Windows 7 on a 16GB SSD and to add a Linux installation to that? Ususally the Windows 7 installer will not install on anything so small.

Thank you for your reply, im probably taking it to a toshiba service place soon.
As I said above the laptop came with a 320GB HDD and win7 installed which I shrinked to make space for ubuntu. Only a few weeks ago did I put the 16GB SSD in and switched distroes to debian so thats the only OS I have on the SSD.

If anyone has anything to add, feel free to leave a reply

//offtopic: there are things I couldnt setup correctly on debian on this laptop so Ill probably post questions about things I cant figure out myself

For anyone who reads this, I took the laptop to a service place where they ran tests on it for about a week or more and when I asked what theyve found they said they never saw any errors therefore I took it home and I havent seen it freeze once since. It DID use to freeze.

// I wouldnt like to mark the thread solved so I can post a reply if the errors return
