too slowly to suffer


so slowly that i had to wait 3 to 5 minutes while shut my redhat down. especially at the time when stopping the services, such as crond, automount. what's wrong?

On the flip-side (and I usually don't answer people who dual post), are all the services that need to be shut down important. Disable any that you are not using so they don't start (or shutdown.)
