too much noise

Hello,

I have a server and it's making too much noise.
The server is Compaq Proliant DL-380 G1.
These are the technical specs.

Of all those technical specs I would like to highlight the noise specs:
Code:
Acoustic Noise	Idle
(Fixed Disk Drives Spinning)
			L WAd (BELS)	6.6
			L pAm (dBA)	49
		Operating
(Random Seeks to Fixed Disks)
			L WAd (BELS)	6.8
			L pAm (dBA)	50
It really is noisy.
How can I fix it so that it makes less noise ?

Is it fan noise or harddrive noise. If harddrive then I would look into replacing them. If fan then maybe you can connect the fans to a board that speeds them up or slows them down based on temperture sensors from the board in the box. Only other is place the guts in an insulated noise cabinet computer case.

The fan noise is clearly ruling out any other noises(if any).
"insulated noise cabinet computer case" ? I have searched the web a bit...
I've come to find out about server cabinets.I just have one server.
And those server cabinets I found are really large.
The location of my server at the moment is in my closet.

People here told me that I should suspend my disks with elastics in the air.

Also I have had some other problems regarding the HP tools that should come with the machine(and didn't)
and that are supposed to regulate the frequency at which the speedfans turn based on sensors
