TL-WN722N not detected on Damn Small Linux
I just installed Damn Small Linux on an old TTX netbook with a pentium 3 @ 800mhz with 128MB of RAM. Sadly it doesn't have any ethernet ports and my USB adapter, the TP-LINK WN722N isn't detected by DSL and i'm complete newbie to Linux. Could someone help me out?
Sorry for my (possibly) bad English.

DSL is unmaintained for more than 4 years now and simply doesn't support this rather new device. Install a recent distribution to get it working.

For a machine with only 128MB of RAM I would try antiX or Vector Light.

One of those distros would allow me to, for example, browse internet without having to go through the hard drive because the RAM is full? Because right now i'm typing on it with XP and the RAM is fully loaded. Very, very slow.

Those distros are in general lighter than XP, but 128MB of RAM is nowadays not much, especially when surfing websites with large amounts of high res pictures. To make your situation better try to use lightweight software only, no Firefox to browse the web, Firefox is a RAM hog, but use Midori or a similar lightweight browser instead. Both distros come with lightweight applications pre-installed.
Nonetheless, your best bet to get a better experience from your laptop would be to upgrade the RAM.

I just don't know where to get more RAM and for a laptop this old it is simply a waste of time.
Edit: My uncle gave it to me along with his son's old P4 PC but I currently only have one monitor so a laptop is my best option for now although I also have my main laptop (Athlon 2650e 1.5GB RAM).

Considering I'm new to Linux and everything, which distro between the two you recommended to me would be the best for me?

In that case I would recommend to go for antiX, it is based on Mepis/Debian, which has a large userbase and very large software repositories, so it is more likely for a newbie to be able to easily install desired software and getting help if needed.
