Thinkpad R40 NIC, no workie, Mandrake 10
This is a new install, it says it found the NIC, it's a built-in and it gives it the eepro100 module. It doesn't seem to think the network cable is plugged in I guess. When I run ifconfig, it doesn't have a "inet addr" section, instead it has an inet6 which has some wierd looking MAC address after it. I know this NIC works, I've read other articles that say it should work without any configuration. Idea's? THanks
