The Matrix

I don't know exactly why, but suddenly my screen looks like the movie "The Matrix" (see picture at There is a lot of green dots all over the screen, they appear and disappear when I move a window around. The monitor that I have is a Multisync LCD1860NX.
Here is the XF86 Configuration:

i had a similiar problem, sometimes i would have the dots sometimes i wouldnt. it turned out to be that my video card was dying, a new card fixed the problem. when i put the old card into another box it decided it didnt want to work at all anymore, so im pretty sure thats what was up. just try and throw another card into ur machine and see if it makes any difference.

I changed the video card today and you were right, now the computer is working.
