tesco usb webcam on suse 10.2

i have just got a cheap Technika> webcam (Tesco's own brand) whcih i wan to use on my Suse 10.2 system

lsusb gives

Code:
sdas@DanNew:~> lsusb
Bus 002 Device 004: ID 0a5c:200a Broadcom Corp.
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 062a:0102 Creative Labs
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 093a:2468 Pixart Imaging, Inc. Easy Snap Snake Eye WebCam
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
sdas@DanNew:~>
the webcam being the Pixart Imaging, Inc. Easy Snap Snake Eye WebCam

when i trawled the hardware side of yast the only change seemed to ba an unrecognised USB scanner (presumably the webcam)
though there is no interface to deal with vidio capture devices.

any help on getting this workng would be much apricated

I have just got one of these too (a slightly different chipset, but still from Tescos )

I've found drivers (spca5xx/gspca) that were released in May at http://mxhaard.free.fr/ and your camera is on the list too. For my camera, they are yet to figure out the contrast and colour and hence the picture quality is quite poor. Perhaps yours will fair better.
