Tablet PCs

Errr.. Guys - I recently got my hands on what was described as a Tablet PC from Fujistsu. Its a old piece of crap with a Pentium class proc, 32 megs of RAm and 1 gig of hdd. I am thinking of installing Linux in it.
So what distro will be the most suited. Also, this thing has a stylus based input instead of a mouse. How do I configure that?? Any qucik howtos? (I do have a keyboard though)

Got a link to a page with the specs?

The stylus might present a bit of a problem...

Cheers,

Finegan

Nope - no specs are available.
The thing was running Winbloze 95 in it.

The stylus may be an issue, especially as Linux is lacking in apps like graffiti. I never even knew anyone made a tablet back in the P1 days. If the mobo is normal it shouldn't present a problem, unless that tablet uses the same interface as a wacom tablet, but that's hoping for too much really. You're location says India, so I figure that Fujitsu marketed this in the far east, didn't get much of a following, and dropped it before trying it out in the west?

Heck man, yeah try it out and see, aside from needing to either backup that 95 install, or at least the more unique drivers, ahead of time... we can help sort you through problems just as long as a distro will load on it!

Cheers,

Finegan

Yep....

Yep - I will have a go at it tomorrow. I will try my luck with the Wacom drivers - let's see. There is a serial port too - I guess in case of trouble, I will try to get a mouse.
Thanx for the help - I will let you know what happened.
