Tablet

Hi I bought this tablet made by Adesso when I had windows. It was kinda glichy, and rough around the edges, but I still liked having a tablet. Now that I have Ubuntu (Gutsy) it doesn't work. I can't seem to find drivers for it any where, at least ones that work. I installed wine hoping that it would install the driver I found here.< its going to take you straight to the download)

It still doesn't work. I was wondering if there was a way to hack, or build a new driver. Or am I just going to have to get a new one? I don't know what to do and I'm kinda bummed it doesn't work.

Can you tell us what doesn't work?

In the gutsy xorg.conf file standard there are settings for wacom tablet stuff. It is commented out. All you have to do is uncomment the lines and the stylus should work. I just got an HP tc1100 tablet to work. It works very well actually.

The whole thing. no movement, no click, the included mouse doesn't work. It's like it is unplugged. Oh wait a minute!!........

I'm sorry I'm pretty new to this stuff I don't understand what the xorg.conf file is or how to get to it. I'm going to poke around for while now. and try to figure it out.
