Switching buttons on Dell D600

I have a Dell D600 running Kubuntu Edgy. I am using a Logitech Marble Mouse and have the mouse buttons switched to left handed and it works fine; however, the buttons that are built into the laptop are still in right handed mode. Has anyone had any luck switching them? When I boot into Windows they are left handed, just not in Linux. Ideas?
