Switching Back...
 
Aight so i installed mandrake on a HD and now i want to reinstall windows 98 on it. Couldnt load it dirctly on the HD using the 98 disc so i thoguht i would try to format it in my other comp. i plugged it into my Windows Machine and tried to format using the CMD prompt but it gave me this

Me --> format F:

Stupid machine --> The type of the file system is RAW.
Please us the /FS switch to spcify the file system
you wish to use on this volume

what do i need to do to get it formatted???

If you are removing Mandrake, then use fdisk. You may want to delete the partition and then boot with the installation disk.
