SuSE Linux 9, Promise SATA Issue

I have an asus A7V8X (this boards causing alot of shit eh?) with SuSE Linux 9 installed.

I have tried compiling the drivers from Promise and they have failed. I have tried using the older drivers for like suse 8.2 but as remembering as the install's have "safe modes" which are good, but annoying, dont work either.

Its a Promise Fast Track 376 Controller, on-board. its on a raid 0+1 configuration (only thing the damn bios would accept)

What do i need to do or where can i find the appropriate kernel drivers for SuSE Linux 9 and this sata controller...

If need be and anyone is using suse 9 and has a recommendation for another controller that natively works for suse 9 please let me know.

Thanks for the assistance in advance.

thanks bartos.

Although SuSE emailed me and said they wont support it, kinda aggrivated me, but i think im going to get a 3ware SATA Raid card that is highly linux accepted and is harware based raid versus software.
