Question Suse Linux 9.0 and Linux compatible modems

I'm wondering if anyone out there has Suse Linux 9.0 Distro and a working v.90 or v.92 modem working under it. I have been having troubles finding PCI modems compatible with Suse Linux. I do have one PCI modem thats it 'supposadly' compatible but it never works under linux when i use any linux dialer, i'm sorry i can't remeber what dialer programs i used. So i'm looking for Suse Linux Compatible Modems that actually work!
