SUSE COMAPTIBILITY WITH HARDWARE Dell PowerEdge Family POWEREDGE 6650


Currently we are using suse 8.1 on the hardware of that is Dell PowerEdge Family with version POWEREDGE 6650 we wan't to upgrade it to suse 9 will that be compatible with my hardware need help

James, those are both very old versions of SuSE and for security reasons you should look at installing a later version even if you have to upgrade your machine to do this.

If you can download an .iso at school, library you can try it to see if it will run. https://el.opensuse.org/Hardware_requirements
