suse and my monitor???

I am installing SuSe 9.1 pro, and every thing is running good. it boots from the cd i made and the istall completes success. it finds my usb ports my cds, and even finds what monitor and drive i use. my monitor is a samsung 570S tft, and i always due the download updates from the internet when installing. but after the install is sucessfull and done, it reboots and then my problem happens. it is a black screen with a grey box saying "video mode not supported" and nothing else. i cant get rid of it and it happens every time i boot up. the splash screen comes up fine and the boot option page comes up fine, but after that the screen goes black with that message. any help on tha would be great, thanks guys

When you do the install and it gets to the point where it recognizes your graphics card. What resolution are you choosing?, What driver is it choosing to load for your graphics card? Have you tried NOT online updating during the install? If it recognizes you card but is not choosing a correct driver and can not find one, try a VESA for your tft. Reuse the main CDROM 1, and instead of choosing New Install, choose Repair.
