SuSE 10: No sound with SB Audigy 2 ZS and ALSA

Hi,

I updated to SuSE 10, and I have a SB Audigy 2 ZS installed. I have disabled the on-board sound in the BIOS. alsaconf correctly detected the Audigy card, loaded emu10k1, but I do not get any sound. On Windows, the card works.

What could be the problem?

Does not help. Sound also does not work in the console (without X).

hmm go to the alsa home siteand get all the latest alsa stuff, firmware libs... etc and make or go to yast and if you have the packman installation sources update them and then search alsa and get the latest versions if you have those and still dont work then im sorry im not sure what else to do.

sorry

Problem solved. The card had been set to digital output.
