suse 10.2 doesn,t boot after install reboot on hp ml 375
How did you do the install from the internet or from the dvd or cd ?
Installing from the dvd or cd she started with the init boot from you,re own media that why I prefer using a dvd or cd I realize that doing so that
a lot of time is spend in downloading but it is safer. I install a lot
of suse distro never had this if a problem most it is after the init boot
mostly because xserver would not started mostly because the refresh rate or color depth from monitor is wrong
all the best

I installed from CDs.I didn't think the problem could be the refresh rate of the monitor because, one, the non-gui boot process doesn't even start. Two,from my other installs, the monitor indicates if the problem is refresh rate or resolution.
The prompt I get after the BIOS stuff is that "ATEMPTING TO BOOTING FROM Hard disk" and it stays there forever.
